Public space is under constant pressure, commercialized, surveilled, optimized, and emptied of dissent.
"Flood the Zone with Art" is a call to intervene. This is not about decoration. This is about presence.

INTRO

We call on artists from all disciplines to claim public space with artistic presence. "Flood the Zone with Art" is an ongoing open call for site-specific Augmented Reality works that stake a non-negotiable claim in the streets, neighborhoods, and border zones of collective life. This is not decoration. This is an act of reclaiming space with art.

TOPIC

Don’t ask for permission. Think and talk in your own artistic language.
Public space is a shared cultural field - contested, political, alive. Your AR work can activate that field by responding to its histories, tensions, or poetic moments. Whether as a single piece or a series, your art should be rooted in a real location and expand how people experience that place. The goal is to create an unavoidable presence that reshapes public experience for all who move through it. Selected works become part of the Artificial Museum, a growing, decentralized, location-based digital platform committed to building future heritage from the ground up.
