A brand new [AR]TWALK invites you on an immersive journey through the past and current history of Vienna’s 10th district - Favoriten. This urban exhibition route blends site-specific AR interventions with public spaces steeped in history, transforming the city to a space where the past meets the present and the digital meets the physical.

  • What does a neighborhood sound like when you really listen? What stories lie between streets, markets, and housing blocks? The [AR]TWALK brings together documentary interviews, hip-hop beats, and opera vocals with interactive AR artworks, turning public space into a living stage for unheard voices and unseen stories.

  • The original [AR]TWALK format - developed by cultural association ECHOLOT and media startup INSELMILIEU Reportage - brought local stories to life through performance, dance and music. In collaboration with LOT Production Studio and The Artificial Museum, it has evolved into the [AR]TWALK: an interactive, digital journey merging art, journalism and technology to reimagine how we experience public space. This exciting project is the second independent map in our growing Artificial Museum cosmos working with our online editor Artificial LAB & NET.
