Deborah Sengl's ZebraTiger is making its third appearance. This time, it's the result of a vote: the students were able to vote for which light graphic they wanted on the Reumädchen stage. The voting was organized and conducted by our cooperation partner, Agenda Favoriten.
The ZebraTiger originates from one of Deborah Sengl's most important sculptures in the "Disguise" series, titled "The Lioness – as a Predator – Disguises Her Coveted Prey," 2004. "Through Deborah Sengl's merging of human and animal, the interplay of perpetrator and victim roles, one thing above all becomes visible: the fracture that runs through the human psyche. The lioness, who hides her coveted prey in zebra skin, the cross-country skier, who hides his feared pursuers with a bear's head, the woman, who disguises herself for luxury with her logo skin, are primarily creatures confused by identity and language."
