The text graphic was conceived by Iranian and Afghan women who participate in the group program of the Vienna Intervention Centre against Domestic Violence. At the center of the text graphic, which builds on the slogan of the Kurdish and Iranian protest movement “Woman, Life, Freedom,” is the demand of women* activists* in Afghanistan for “Bread, Work, Education, Freedom.” These demands are also represented by the women* of the Iranian and Afghan diaspora in Vienna. They want to make a statement at the Platz der Kulturen for gender justice and the desire for a life free of violence and worry.
